FT Wax (Fischer-Tropsch Wax, F-T Wax) is produced by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis from syngas (CO+H₂). It consists mainly of linear alkanes, featuring narrow molecular-weight distribution, high purity and white color. In PVC processing it acts mainly as an internal and external lubricant:

Compared with paraffin (broad MWD, poor thermal stability) and ordinary PE wax, high-drop-point FT wax significantly lowers extrusion torque and reduces blooming in high-speed PVC pipe/profile extrusion — which is especially important for stabilizer systems.

Can FT wax be blended with paraffin?
